This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit altaraslogistics.com, operated by Altaras Global Lojistik Anonim Şirketi (“Altaras Logistics”, “we”).
What we collect
We only collect information you give us. When you complete the quote form or the quick quote window, we receive:
- Your name
- Your company name (if you choose to share it)
- Your email address and phone number
- Details of your request: transport mode, route, type of cargo, weight/volume and any notes you add
Information you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp falls within the same scope.
Why we collect it
For one purpose: to assess your request, prepare a quote and communicate with you during that process. If a contract follows, the same information is used to run the transport operation and to meet our statutory record-keeping obligations.
We do not add you to marketing lists, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics software that monitors your visit. Technical data your browser stores locally for display preferences never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your IP address may be transmitted to Google while the page loads. Beyond that, our pages contain no third-party tracking code.
Who we share it with
We share your data only to the extent the service requires, with:
- Our website hosting and form delivery providers
- Partners needed to perform the transport, such as agents, carriers and customs brokers
- Competent public authorities where a legal obligation applies
Sharing with partners is limited to the data strictly necessary to carry out the operation you requested.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are retained for 2 years after the quote process closes. Where a contract is concluded, commercial books and records legislation requires a retention period of 10 years. At the end of these periods data is deleted or anonymised.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form data is transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to personal data is limited to employees working on quote and operations processes.
